Speaking Engagements & Seminars

Kary was on a local Nashville, TV show called “The Dr. Friday Show” as the Mental Health Professional to address family issues that arise through divorce and the family decision to have children or not. These shows aired weekly for three months.

Kary also speaks annually to United Methodist Association of Preschools Conference and NAAEYC’s Early Childhood Education Conference.

She has spoken to “Mothers of Preschoolers” three years and was voted best speaker by its members in 2013. They were so impressed with the information shared that they created an evening event for Kary to speak to the father’s as well.

Kary also taught a four week seminar to address children through different life cycle stages at Providence United Methodist Church.

Kary maintains a private practice in the Green Hills area of Nashville, TN specializing in the mental health treatment of children and adolescents.

Kary would be a great ending to a business conference. After the attendees have learned about the topics necessary for their field of interest she can assist them as they transition home to their family’s or partners. Kary can give information that will make that evening and many more less stress and more fun.

Kary is an EMDRIA certified consultant and assists at Basic EMDR Trainings.  She also provides consultation groups for other therapist to get certified in EMDR.  Kary co presents a 6 hour training on Simplifying EMDR with Children to help other therapist improve their skills in using EMDR with children.
